Ht. 5'7", Start: 186 lb, Today: 176 lb (BMI %tile: 91), Goal: 125 lb - Hey everyone :) This is my first time actually writing anything here, although ive been reading the success stories for quite a while. Right now I weigh 176 pounds and still have a long way to go. I just wanted to know, how do you guys stay motivated? I mean, my family are the experts on eating junk and fast foods and they don't support me in trying to lose weight. So i guess it gets hard at times. What do you do to keep your mind on the 'straight and narrow' so to speak?

I totally agree with u I always get dissapointed when I hope on the scale and I've gained... and yes I think its very unfairvthat we gain faster than we lose it lol and for me its so hard to get in the routine of exercising daily.

Hi taylor ~ thanks for the response. It's kinda nice to know im not the only one with these issues. i try to stay motivated, but lately ill end up stuffing my face if there's like fries or something around. so, although it is motivating when i lose weight, it's also quite disappointing when i pick up weight. I'll definitely try the google thing when it comes to fast food. Dont you think it's unfair that it takes so much effort to lose the weight, but you can gain it back in like half the amount of time it took you to lose it in the first place?

hey vanessa i have that exact same problem and for the fast food if u have a phone with internet on it then i usually go on google and look for what has the lowest calories and that seemed to work. i want to stay motivated but for some reason i cant. i used to do really good i was 175 then went to 158 and then i got out of routine and gained almost all of it except four pound and ive regretted it ever since but what usually does motivate me is when i step on the scale and i lost weight
