Ht. 6'2", Start: 263 lb, Today: 263 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 185 lb - Another day. Hope to post less soon but while I'm starting the ability to write and receive feedback is so nice. Back to 263. Weigh myself every morning right when I wake up in my PJ bottoms and t-shirt. So I know I'm getting a consistent read.
Breakfast - 2 bagels and cream cheese
Morning snack - 1 cereal bar
Lunch - turkey and cheese sandwich with mustard, soda
Afternoon snack - 2 cereal bars, soda
Dinner - a hearty portion of enchiladas (a heckuva of a lot less than I used to have). 1 last soda.
Desert - small piece of chocolate cream pie.
Exercise - 10 minute walk around neighborhood. Wednesday is usually a really busy day for me. I'm finding it REALLY hard to fit exercise into my schedule. How do you do it??!!
I know this might sound like a lot but this is a huge reduction from what I was eating before (believe it or not). I guess all I can say is that I'm glad I'm not gaining.
Question - how much weight do you have to lose before you lose inches off your waist. The thing I'm looking forward to most right now is fitting into my size 38 jeans and pants again. I don't own a lot of size 40 (my current size) so my wardrobe has become really limited.

Usually 5 pounds will show some results. I think if you drink more water and just go on walks that you'll get even more results. You should also read weight loss blogs, it might help! Here's one on a woman who weighed 266 and dropped down to 145!!! It took her a while but you can see her choices and exercise :)

Hey! My Wendsdays are really difficult. But somehow I manage to walk my dogs for an hour and do my step ups. I don't know. I've lost almost 4 sizes since I started my weightloss plan and I've lost about 20lbs. Post all you like! Thats the reason for this website.

Hmm with an answer to your question, probably after 5-10 pounds you'll start seeing reduction with inches around your body. The way I do it, is that I weigh myself every week and if the results are good, I just keep going and wait to check my inches but if I ever have a good week but the results aren't so good, I'd check inch wise. I'm sure you're excited about losing weight and its like "I wanna see results NOW" ya know haha but really, I'd just wait and check your inches at the end of every month though because it does take time. Keep eating well and doing your best Joey! We're here for you :D

Hey Joey! Great effort! You're right, it's good that you're not gaining. But I think I can give you a tip. Try to drink 1-2 bottles of water a day. Or maybe for every soda, drink a cup of water after. Don't give up! Start off slow. Once you see that it's not so hard, you'll be more motivated to improve. Hope I helped and good luck! You can do it!!!

Also, my dad has offered me $2 for every pound I lose so that should be a good motivator.
