Ht. 5'5", Start: 155 lb, Today: 155 lb (BMI %tile: 90), Goal: 100 lb - I need help! I try to lose weight but I keep gaining it back. I eat exactly 1200 calories a day and exercise 2 hours a day, but it won't come off! I want cool clothes like my SKINNY friends. When I go in the store I see really cute clothes and try them on and there are too small! I'm size 10! One it was really cold outside and we had to go out for PE but I forgot my long pants and only had shorts my BFF offered to lend my hers but she is a size 0. I'm one of the fatest kids in my school and it is intimidating. All this weight is keeping my from being popular and it is ruining my life. I need help!!!!

your head isnt in the right place , your too worried about "fitting" in but when you stop worring about that and just worry about your HEALTH you will be wayyy better off i promise ,and i dont think its your weight thats keeping you from being "popular" (i didnt think being popular mattered anymore) is your confidence, insecurites about your weight. i personally think you are beautiful the way you are but there isnt anything wrong with getting healthy , some people on here would LOVE to be at your weight remember that.

Hi HannahMaria :) I just wanted to comment because it's happened to me where I've eaten perfectly and exercised everyday but didn't see any weight loss and it was really frustrating for me so I understand how you feel :/ but it might be too dramatic a change for your body to take in. I think your body isn't showing weight loss because it's too much. Try to take in more calories and you'll most likely start seeing weight loss. When your body notices you eating less and burning more calories, it responds by trying to hold onto the weight so it doesn't come off because your body doesn't want you to get sick from not getting all you need through food. So try eating more for one week, see how it works out. Maybe eat around 1500-1600 just for a week and see if anything changes. This worked for me so you really don't have anything to lose by trying :) good luck HannahMaria!

Dont be discourged Hannah, I used to have the same thing I would aim 130 or 125 pounds 5'5 100 pounds that would be to skinny. That great you want to lose weight! I would aim a size 6 for clothing. If I was your hight I would aim 130 pounds or 125 pounds. Dont give up reaching your goal, drink a lots of water. It proves weight loss, walking, running, ride bike , scctor.. Dont worry being popular, just be yourself. Lose weight for yourself. Not for your skinny friends.. Dont give up, eat less and the weight will come off.. Jump rope, inside, jog, walk dog or your friend's dog or the neigbors dog. Ask the neigbor's and your mom, and dad.
I hope to have helped
