Ht. 5'6", Start: 165 lb, Today: 160 lb (BMI %tile: 92), Goal: 125 lb - The only reason I lost 5lb was because I was really sick and it will prob come back. I've been trying to lose weight for years now, but I can't. I don't really like fast food and I eat really healthy. I'm a vegetarian. I swim laps everyday,ride my bike for hours and go hiking for whole days with my parents. I've tried everything! Any advice? I really need help. My doctor wasn't any help at all-he just said "Lose weight!"

Sometimes when you do certain exercises a lot your body gets used to it. Try some different exercises like yoga, pilates, dance, tae bo etc...I think your body just needs something new to challenge it.

Evangaline, I know how you feel not loseing weight, loseing 5 lbs is a great start, there are vegetarain, reicpes, soups, and snadwhicsh, and snacks, one of my favoirte meatless reicpe is vegetarain chilly, when cold weather is in.. But I would keep excrisieng, there are salds that have no meat. Try green tea in the morning. Eat small amounts, and drink a lot of water, dont be discourged.. Keep trying , you will lose weight, it took me a while to eat less.. Once you reach 125 pounds you will be very happy and healthy, and will look like a brand new teen girl. Face will be better.. I am an overweight teen myself. I did swiming last Friday...
It was 4th of July weekend..
