Ht. 5'3", Start: 138 lb, Today: 134 lb (BMI %tile: 88), Goal: 125 lb - Hello! I just had a random question. Well I've been trying to lose weight. (and I did lose 4 lbs). The way I do it is that I run 3 blocks everyday after school with my 2 dogs, despite the pain. My mom thought it was shin splints? But it always happens. My shins just kill me the whole time I'm running. I thought shin splints went away in a few days, but its been about 3 weeks, and it doesn't stop?

You should defenitley get your legs checked out by a doctor. You shouldn't ignore a problem like this, you could end up not being able to walk due to a more serious injury if you keep exercising in pain. Go to the doctor! (:
Hope I helped!

it happens to me from time to time. Maybe you need to try and get some better running tennis shoes.
