Ht. 5'5.5", Start: 181 lb, Today: 181 lb (BMI %tile: 94), Goal: 120 lb - 131.6 pounds yaaaaaaah!! I can't believe just by eating healthy has allowed me to lose this weight even without EXERCISING. For the past 2 weeks I have not been exercising as much as I thought I would but of course... the weight keeps on falling. I think dieting is the most imperative thing within our weight loss regimes. You have to discipline yourself and most of all my favorite trick DO NOT eat heavy meals AFTER 6pm ! This is the time that your body needs to resort to the stored fat. Anyhow, I just wanted to give you guys a brief update. =D

I started my weight loss during 09 summer where I lost 25 pounds but after going to college I gained half of that back lol. So I officially started my weight loss around 160-165 at the end of January, after my first semester of college. So basically 4 months to lose a rough 25-30 pounds (This might be slightly off, however, I have everything recorded on here for referrance lol!). Anyhow, I didn't starve, I didn't do any crazy dieting. I just realized after failing so many times that dieting was the most CRUCIAL thing in any weight loss regime. I just ate healthy and exercised 4 times a week. However, for the past 2 weeks I haven't exercised because I'm so busy with finals. :( But hopefully I won't let this happen again because I already started my cardio today! yaah me! lol

Hey Brianna! I have posted many advices on other people's posts for awhile now so if you want you could look through them as well.
What I usually do is try to drink warm green tea with fresh lemons in the morning every other day, if I can. This is a great way to clean your system out and get ready for the day whether you are going to eat healthy with mild exercise regimes or intense workouts with high calorie foods. I also eat very high fiber foods, I recommend you to try Kashi go lean or Smartbran psyllium and oatbrans. They both of extremely high fiber, roughly around 40 - 50%. I also eat tortilla wraps (smallest one and its yellow corn) with salad (dressing light zest of only 25 calories) with fish or turkey and sometimes beef. People have this misconception that weight loss is always associated with exercising really hard but dieting is the most central in any weight loss program. Try to watch what you eat and if you are not hungry DO NOT force yourself to eat. Try to eat less and drink loads of water and take fresh tangerines with you to school/work anywhere so you won't feel compelled to eat at fast food chains. I normally stop eating around 6pm because I don't want my body to digest throughout the night, but for my body to resort to the stored fat. But this is what I'm doing right now, if you are starting off right now you can stop around 7pm but lightly and can indulge in more. But later on when you are in your 60s you have to discipline your body and eat sweets in moderation... but you can start my diet right now because it won't harm you and plus you get to lose more weight faster! :D I also exercise 4 times a week by doing cardio for 45 minutes and I'm hoping to do 10 minutes on incline (hardessst! lol). Try to do some resistance workouts and some ab workouts if you can, however, I choose not to. I'm trying to shed all the body weight off so I get lean and then I can finally do some intense toning to the body. But thats probably going to be around when I'm 125. But remember exercising isn't something you should worry about but your dieting!! Once you get your eating habits on track, exercising will become easier for you. I know there will be times that it will be tough, yesterday I gave in and binged my ass of at taco bell and then went out partying in the town all night and once I got on the scale I noticed I gained a pound. But this did not make me give up because I know I'm capable of losing that pound in a day! So don't give up just don't make it a habit!! =) Wish you muuuuch luck! And ask anything you want!
