Ht. 5'8", Start: 310 lb, Today: 310 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 190 lb - Well hello. My name is Naomi and I have struggled with my weight since my childhood. A few weeks ago I visited the doctors office and my weight was a whooping 310lbs. I never understood the severity of my weight, until that moment.The purpose of this post is to find a way to lose weight. My goal is 190lbs,which means I need to lose 120lbs. Honestly I have tried EVERY diet there is, Weight Watchers, Atkins, Low Carbohydrates, Counting Calories, Drinking water , you name it and nothing seems to work.If anyone has ANY advice, please leave me a comment, ANY tip or advice is greatly appreciated! hi Naomi my name is maya and i weigh 256 pounds... so i know what it feels like to have a sever weight problem.... i was being pressured by every one until my pschologociest (thats as best as i could spell that) told my parents to stop because the pressure was putting me into depression... so far the biggest ongoing pressure for me with my weight is if i dont loose some weight fast im going to have to have surgery... just a heads up you might be a candidate too... (not as a good thing believe me im currently avoiding doctors appointments)... any way... a good way to loose weight is to forget the weight loss plans... THEY DONT WORK.... now if you want to get your self motivated ask your self this question.... what is your most favorite thing to do (thats active)??? do you like to hang out with friends? well then walk to the mall with your bff.... do you like swimming well next time your in the pool go for 2 laps AND then start relaxing... if you like music... try listing to your ipod on a walk to the store.... short things help if you dont like exercising... i find it especially easy if you do it with another person... and even if its just small things like walking to the grocery store instead of taking the car is sooooo much better.... also try eating a apple or drinking apple juice before eating a meal it puts your hunger at bay.... good luck :)

Thanks ALOT everyone, I will be considering everything you all have told me. I dont exercise which is a major problem for me, so i will try walking and eating less.Thanks!

Eat less, move more. Don't starve yourself and don't exercise like mad. You should start up slow and progress further with time.

have you tried exercising?
just walking in the beginning for 15-20 minutes a day can make you lose up to 5 pounds a week (if you don't exercise). good luck! :)
