Ht. 5'3", Start: 253 lb, Today: 252 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 145 lb - MY LEGS HURT SO BADLY...i finished a 10 min cardio workout for the first time yesterday and today when i woke up i can barely walk my legs hurt sooooo badly ugh...its right above my knee but it is not my KNEE...i was walking around school today looking like a old lady lol...but (to a extent)...idk have this happened to any of you guys when you first started exercising?????? comment plzz

Yep it's normal. And it will get less sore the more you exercise! Just remember to stretch before and after :-D I've worked my way up to 20 mins cardio from 10 and I don't get much soreness anymore. Keep it up!

WELL yes it happened to me on sunday!! I went to my first cheerleading practice n made the squad! But i was doing cartwheels and roundoffs and backhandsprings jumps and now i hurt so bad my thighs my back i know how you feel! ITs just your muscles trying to tense up to get used to the exercise its okay! itll get better stretch a lil it will help! :)

yeah ive felt that a lot. i heard from my doctor that when you are sore thats you gaining muscle and getting rid of fat. keep it up and you will be 145! ;)

Absolutely! It's a normal process of getting yourself into shape. It's because your body isn't used to the strain you're now putting on it. You'll continue to be sore for a few days I'm sure (I've heard the second day after you first start exercising is when you're most sore, but that could be untrue =D), but keep it up because you don't want to let your exercise plan lapse or it'll be hard on your body all over again when you want to start up again.
As long as it's just that sore feeling, you should be fine. If you ever truly feel pain, as in pulled muscle, etc., don't listen to the above - get to a doctor! =)
