Ht. 5'4", Start: 179 lb, Today: 185 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 110 lb - i gained another 15 pounds! ahh im sooo mad. and its becoming increasingly hard fer me to exercise. i mean, i have the time to use my treadmill, but im soo unconditioned i cant even jog 5mph fer a minute! thats pretty pathetic. i remember wen i was skinny and i cud run as fast as i can fer like half an hour. how could i possibly b this out of shape?? ugh i know im gona hav to build up to it again but im waaaayyy too impatient. i cant stand this. my mom used to b soo supportive of me and now even she is calling me bad namees! FML

I know how you feel! I was so out of shape and couldn't even run 4mph (forget 5mph thats a suicide mission! lol) so I use to go up one mile per hour (one of the girls on here gave me that wonderful advice). So I went from 3.2 mph to 4.2 mph. Maybe I'll go up to 5mph one day. But don't give up! I would say go on youtube and look at weight loss success stories before you run on your treadmill because that really boosts your confidence. I know 5 minutes before I go running I get so motivated by thinking about how I will look after the weight loss and that really makes me persevere. :)

You have to be patient with yourself. I know working out isn't the funnest thing in the world, I would know. I'm 16, just like yourself and weigh 191, my goal is 125. What I find that helps to motivate me is when I work out with other people. Go for a walk with a friend, and progress to running. Continue to tell yourself that you can do it. When you feel the urge to eat, keep saying that phrase in your head. It will happen, just be patient and you will see results.
