Ht. 5'4", Start: 179 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI %tile: 95), Goal: 110 lb - wow i havnt been on here fer almost 2 years! hello everybody! lmao. anyways, i cannot stay at a stable weight and i cant lose the weight like i did last time. i started at 195pds 2 years ago and dropped to about 134pds. in the past 8 months i hav gained it all back! i havent changed my diet, i try to exercise, and im still gaining weight. my doctor cant figure it out either. please help me? has any1 else ever gone through this? idk how to handle it

No offense to Amanda and Isabella, but I assume a doctor would have considered both of those things, and they don't fit. Doctors spent years in med school, so such basic things are usually tested for immediately. And Emily, if you're eating properly and exercising, the only thing you can do is request for more medical tests to be done to help you figure out what's wrong. Maybe research Cushing's syndrome, and see if your symptoms fit, and request for testing to be done to pursue a diagnosis of something like that, though it may not be. Cushing's is rare. But just things like that. Do your own research. Sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands.

I pretty much have the same problem. Your body is probably getting ready for a growth spurt. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just make sure to drink lots of water. :)

You most likely have some type of thyroid problem, or your meatbolism may not be working corrects, if you really think that its not your fault then I would get test done at a hospital just to make sure.
