Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 165 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 110 lb - HELP. PLEASE.
I am short and overweight. I'm entering sophmore year and am known as the shy girl. Why am I shy? Self esteem and how I always am ashamed of my weight. I hate it. MAKES ME WANT TO KILL MYSELF.. Or just punish myself. I've actucally CUT MYSELF BEFORE! But I was stupid and know that cutting is not the answer. Every girl in my school is so thin or average but I have such huge thighs and glutts. And my stomach is becoming a problem.
I've become aware of the fact that I need to lose weight and I want to do it for this guy I really love and feel that he would like me better if I was thinner. And no, for right now I know for sure he likes me for my personality but I want to lose weight for him so when we meet we can be happy.
If anyone is willing to lose weight with me then I would love it. Knowing that we can keep track of each others weight and exchange tips. Also Please help. YES I am on my month time right now which isn't really helping at the moment and makes me want to...well stuff. Any tips on what to eat and excercises to help reduce fat would help. I'm also thinking on going veggitarian.

Glad you realize that you shouldn't lose weight just for a guy and that he should be looking at your personality rather than your body. I've been losing weight by doing a ton of walking. (I also moved and now I'm on the third floor of a building with no elevator.) Cut meals in half. If you were going to have one big lunch of a few slices of pizza, for example, have half of them at 11am and the other half at 2pm. It's the same amount of fat and calories as you'd have for lunch, but because you won't be hungry, it'll cut down on snacks.
Also, for being vegetarian -- make sure to plan a diet before you do so. I became a vegetarian for a number of reasons, weight loss being one of them. I gained 30 pounds that year because I replaced meat with fatty snacks. I've managed to lose most of the weight now without eating meat, but it takes some effort.
