Ht. 5'6", Start: 186 lb, Today: 155 lb (BMI %tile: 83), Goal: 130 lb - I'm so angry! I'm trying to better myself and my parents grounded me from seeing my friends AND they said I couldn't go to the gym!!! I need to exercise before school lets back in! Now I feel like I have to starve myself to reach my goal. Even if I have to throw up when I DO eat. :( I just want to lose weight and I'm going to reach my goal no matter what.

Woah. Ok, that is not cool. If you want to exercise, do stuff like dancing and running up and down the stairs. But if you don't need to lose weight, don't go crazy. You've already lost a lot of weight, and starving yourself won't help. This is cuz if you eat 500 calories per day, your metabolism will adjust to burning 500 calories a day. Then when you return to 2000, or whatever, you'll have 1500 calories that weren't burned. So do it safely, or don't do it at all. Hope I helped.

Throwing up and starving will cause your body to preserve whatever it does get as fat (if you eat and then throw up, you still get most of the calories of whatever you ate), so it's just counter-productive, you'll just gain more weight back, so I don't see why you'd want to do something like that, it'll just make it harder for you to reach your goal.
