sorry i just meant bout the bike it doesnt burn as much as running or doing the eliptical or crosstrainer...i didnt mean that it didnt burn calories...just that i burn way more than that running or doin the crosstrainer. i burn 1200 calories if i run for a hour. and only about 800 for the bike.

So you've lost 4lbs in one week? That's great. I know how it can feel to do so much so you kind of expect a bigger number but trust me, if you keep losing at this rate you will definitely be at your goal. And AGAIN, you can still eat your favorite foods as long as you're not eating 3500calories you WILL NOT gain a pound. Add the calories your body automatically burns through the day, plus the calories you burn through exercise and you're good to go! Listen, my heighest weight was 280lbs which is right before I delivered my daughter. I got to 263lbs and I then started dieting and eating properly, still eating the foods I love just limiting my proportions. I lost 90lbs in 9months, so that's 10lbs a month. I got down to 173lbs and was wearing a size 11/12 jeans, which were getting loose on me. The reason I'm back up to 230lbs is because I just had my son 7weeks ago so again I gained a ton, lol. I know if I could do it once, I can do it again. It may be more difficult though. Trust me, if I can do it, you most definitely can do it. And if you're talking about the stationary bike not burning many calories then you are probably mistaken because at my weight (the comp says) I burn a little over 700 calories in one hour, at a moderate pace. Try not to push yourself too hard because if you seriously injure yourself you may fall into a rut and start eating like crazy. Goodluck!
