Ht. 5'3", Start: 175.8 lb, Today: 167 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 140 lb - Ok, guys. So...I totally broke my diet yesterday. We were having a big event at church and I totally went wacko with all the cookies and pound cake and doughnuts and pizza and...long story short, I have to work my butt off this week--literally, lol. I think I'll do some DancePraise (it's like dance dance revolution)...burn some calories...
Hey, have any of you tried WiiFit? Does it work? Does it help??? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I am interested in trying it.
Also, for those of you who have tried Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred: how often did you do it? Every day for 30 days or every other? 4 days a week...?
Thanks guys!

I'm thinking of trying out 30 Day Shred. Did you lose all that weight w/ diet or w/o? Will I lose more eating right? (Well, I already am...)
Thanks everyone, again!

30 day shred, do it for five days straight then take a day off. do it for five days again take a day off and so on. that's what it said to do in one of her books.

WiiFit is fun and it's more active than doing nothing, but it doesn't help burn too many calories on it's own. You still have to get other exercise, but it's nice to have, because it burns more than perhaps sitting down and watching TV which is something you might do instead of exercising... so it depends. It can get boring sometimes, and it's mostly stretching and balance type exercises, so not too much real cardio type exercises that help burn a lot of calories. But it is really good for keeping track of weight loss, though.
