Ht. 5'3", Start: 175 lb, Today: 167 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 140 lb - Ok, so, I have been drinking LOTS of water (6-8 cups a day) and I have been eating salads and yogurt and the like...I'm hoping to lose another pound this week. My mini goal is to weigh 155-160 (to lose 15-20 pounds total) by the end of June. To lose 20, I have to lose 2 pounds a week. To lose 15, I have to lose 1 pound a week. The latter is more practical and would be less disappointing but the former is definitely not impossible. After that, I'll have 15 (if I want to weigh 140) or 25 pounds left to lose. My mom says that 140 is better because she says I'd be a toothpick otherwise. But, I think 130 is better. What do you guys think? Please comment, I really need help with this!
BTW, a way to tell if you're large, medium, or small-boned: wrap your thumb and index finger around your wrist. If they don't touch, you're large-boned. If they touch, you're medium-boned. If they overlap, you're small-boned.

cool. so, thats about 2.5 pounds a week? and, what did you eat while you were doing that? how much did you exercise and what did you do? I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT if you write back. :)

i lost 15 pounds in 6 weeks, not two. I did it every night.

maybe u should try 140 and then see how u look!

sorry, lol. but, do you guys find that jogging works for losing weight? Amanda asked this question but the answer wasn't really very straight-forward.
