Ht. 5'4", Start: 173 lb, Today: 173 lb (BMI %tile: 96), Goal: 130 lb - So...I'm really confused. I weighed myself yesterday evening and it said I weighed 178- 5 pounds higher than my starting weight, and I actually posted on it yesterday...but then I weighed myself this morning and it said I was 173, a very dramatic difference...so I was wondering...what time of day is best to weigh myself to get the most accurate weight?

In the morning without anything on and dont eat anything until you weigh yourself. you should also use the bathroom b4 u get on the scale it can make a big diffrence.

In the morning, once a week, before you eat anything, after you've used the bathroom and without clothing. (It all adds weight: having a full bladder, not having digested your breakfast, just having workout out, etc.)

your weight fluctuates throughout the day up to five pounds, which is what you saw. if you want to see your lowest weight of the day you should weigh yourself in the morning before you eat. but it doesnt really matter when you weigh yourself as long as everytime you weigh yourself (which should be once a week) you do it at the same time of day.
