Ht. 5'8", Start: 272 lb, Today: 251 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 125 lb - Hey!I took a month break from dieting, just cause i gave up,and now im starting again.I started yesterday, and i only ate once, and it was vegtables and water. But the reason i only ate once was because i didnt wake up until 4,and thats because i had just got back from a fieldtrip, which is why im starting my diet again.Well on our fieldtrip we went to the beach and spent 3 nights in a hotel, and you guessed it,boys being boys, they decided to discuss who they....uhh...wanted.well lets just say the news got back to us girls, and i was the only one with a reason to be upset.and i really dont care about their intimate wants, its just it would have been nice to hear my name mentioned, which i plan on having done next year, because im going on a year long diet:)
Well its a bad reason to get motivated, but there it is.
What do you think?

Thanks again.
Im sticking to it as long as i can, then when i get to a breaking point i will stop being a vegan and allow myself to have fish, but not meat. But i think i can go a year without bread....hopefully.:)ily.

you may want to reconsider the no meat and no bread thing, it may not be a realistic diet to maintain for a whole year, which could possibly lead to a breaking point where you binge. instead why not try to limit bread and only eat whole wheat or whole grain bread when you do? and the same for meat, maybe try to limit it and when you do eat it make sure its lean? i know from experience that having an unrealistic diet can work out at firt but then become to much to maintain and ends poorly. hope this is helpful :)

I know exactly what you mean.
But at our age. . . not being desired by your peers well sucks.
So, lets support each other! haha.
I started my diet last week. Didn't go too well. :/
So I'm starting today.
SO far, not too good.
But it was parent lunch at school today.
Good Luck Gurh!

I think that it's a shame that it took stupid boys to make you want to lose weight. you should want to lose weigh to be healthy, not to be wanted. but, being wanted isn't so bad either. ;P
