Ht. 5'8", Start: 272 lb, Today: 258 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 120 lb - has anyone on here lost alot of weight?like 50 pounds??or 100?it seems like such a large task to lose 100+ pounds.ugh,i had been doing so well and then i gained back 10.now i cant stop,everyday is the same thing.breakfast:none.lunch:wrap w/ chips or chicken and fries.dinner:anything and everything-definatley my weak spot.I want to lose weight so bad....i dont know how to start back again..when i started it was spontaneous,i was late to lunch that day and i didnt feel like waiting in the pizza line ao i walked over to the other line and got a salad...and the habit stuck...for awhile.HELP!I dont think many people realize this when they make fun of us but what we have is a disease(obesity)..it kills..it should be considered just as fatal as cancer except we can stop it...but its addictive,so i guess its more like smoking.but the point is its not good and we need to fight it!!good luck,and please comment.

Considering your height I suggest your weight loss goal be 135-145 that's a healthy range. If you weighed 120 you'd be underweight which isn't healthy either, it's just as bad as being overweight.

hey i have lost a total of 55 pounds i am 5 foot 5 and i used to weigh a whopping 198 for a five foot 3 frame now i am down to about 143 i still want to lose another 15 so i could be 128 on a five foot five frame but it takes time and be careful through my battle i also developed an eating disorder that i am still battling with please do it the safe way and good luck

A) You're 5.8!!! You would be a toothpick at 120 pounds. I think at 130-135 you would be very healthy!! B) I'm not sure if anyone who has posted on here has lost that much--since I've only been getting on this site for 3 days--but I'm sure others have! Or, if they haven't, you could be the first and give encouragement to those who want to lose a lot, too!!! ^_^
