WHITE RICE?! No. It has corn starch which (despite what those dumb sweetsurpise.com commercials say) is bad for you. Well, the way I look at it...nothing is really bad for you. Some things are worse than others and should be eaten in moderation...like white rice. Now, tummy tucking exercises:
If you need it for your sides:
Lay down on your back (if you have back problems, don't do this one!) and put your legs all the way up, straight up towards the ceiling. Reach for your left leg with your right hand. Reach for your right leg with your left hand. It's as simple as that. Do it about 30 times...or until you feel a numbness.
For your "lower pooch sag":
Sit-ups..I don't know...something likes that. I'm still looking for something good. Sit-ups hurt and crunches only do your upper stomach.
Good luck!

Hali is right. I met Jillian Michaels last May in Central Park and called her radio show about a year ago. She gave me her email and I've asked her tons of questions, spot reducing being one of them.

Actually yes it does, your body melts fat where it wants to, if you continue to train you stomach without cardio, it will gain muscle, ergo, your stomach looks bigger (im not saying that you will lose weight), I think Jillian Michaels knows what shes talking about.

Actually, Hali isn't necessarily right. Spot reducing IS not really possible, but you can TONE your stomach so it's muscle (which is more compact) instead of mostly fat. Muscle is far more dense and more compact than fat, so things like sit ups don't make your stomach look bigger really...

There is no such thing as 'tummy trimming'. When you burn more calories than you consume, you lose weight systematically where your body wants too. If you do to many stomach exersizes you will actually do the opposite of what you want, because it will build muscke, making your stomach look bigger. Just do cardio, and weight, or resistence training, and it will come off in time.

Twitch is right. And any diet you here that is eating just ONE thing is unhealthy. And if you weren't talking JUST eating white rice, it would definitely depend on what else you ate with it. But like, twitch said, it is a starch and brown rice is better.

noooo. white rice is starch. eat brown rice rather than white rice. but you need a balanced diet. vegies, protein, etc
