Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 176 lb, Goal: 140 lb - "I am he as you are as you are me and we are all togetherrr!" I know we are all together in this thing. Some of us losing brilliantly while some us are not losing terribly! I'm still frustrated. I just wish I switch my body with someone sometimes. Ok, not sometimes most times I wish this. I hate how some people can eat whatever the hell they want and not gain single lb, damn their metabolism!!!! Nothing is changing with me. I've been on this plateau of 178 since like...last March! I've tried everything. I've been working my butt off. I'm tired of thinking about food so much. I'm tired of obsessing. I feel like I'm obsessing right now but that's my problem..I have OCD or something with everything. My brain is on the verge of explosion and magazines and tv screens don't make it any better. :'(

heyy! well, i read somewhere and heard on t.v. a few times that when you're stressed out, your body produces a hormone called cortisol which actually hinders weightloss and can even cause a person to gain weight, specifically in the midsection. all you've got to do is just relax, dont get too caught up in this thing and just focus on being healthy. stress only worsens things, trust me i know. as soon as i lighten up and take it day by day i start to notice changes. hope i helped, and stay strong, you can do it hun !:)

one take a deep breath... relax getting all worked up isent going to help... and getting stuck on that kinda "plato" you mentioned is normal... i know i lose weight for about 2 weeks and then 2weeks nothig and then 2 weeks later i'm down and so on.... you said you have been like this since march.. it is possible that your body has gotten used to the workout you are doing that is why you should mix it up when you do a work out for so long your body learns the moves and then starts to cheat doing half if not less work... also try adding a little weight lfting.. that will help speed up your metabolism and help tone up your body a little bit to help get some inches off... dont give up you can do it.. even look for a work out partner ask here it will be worth it
