Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 176 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Time. Time. Time. I'm frustratedddddddddd. It's the end of JUNE already! it's basically July if you think about it. I wanted to lose 15-20 lbs by Sept 1 but I haven't even lost 1 lb yet! at this rate...I don't see my goal happening :( I wanted to go back to school in good shape and with confidence. This is taking so damn long and I know weight loss is a gradual process but honestly. I hate this. I just feel like ripping my head off! and yesterday was bad..I didn't do my 4 miles and I ate an extra meal (a sandwhich) which I shouldn't have but I just felt like it. But I squeezed some dancing time in because I Knew I had to get some work out done. I've been been feeling very unmotivated lately and the dead scale just makes it 50000x worst :( I sound like a whiny little girl I know but I had to vent. I've been having a lousy week and my lousy attitude won't make it any better. Not to mention, the callous on my feet has gotten worst and I can hardly walk or workout because I peeled the dead skin off and now it burns like helL! also my neck hurts from the back and everytime I move it. I'm like breaking literally and emotionally. This reeks so bad! feels hopeless.

Claire, I am here, you are there, we are together, and you are not in this alone. Believe me, I know what you mean! I've been 178-182 since DECEMBER 2007. In six months it will be DECEMBER 2008 and in a year I bet I will have lost...2 lbs. Maybe. But don't give up. Seriously. You need a plan. Don't be an exercise nut. Your workouts are very intense so only workout majorly 3 times a week and for the rest of the days in between do some light stretching, a little dancing, some walking, and have at least 1 day free of formal exercise. To be honest, I think you can loose weight on your own. but it would;d be faster if you had a more structured plan. So, I'd recommended 3 plans if you decide you need more planned guidance. 1.) Weight Watchers or Weight Watchers Online (seriously, not just for old ladies!) 2.) Jenny Craig (the food is actually good and decent--I know, my aunt's on it and she lost 17 lbs in like 6 weeks so far) 3.) The Diet for Teenagers Only (the book that will save your life and sanity) Bets wishes my gf just hang in there!!! :)

what i find helps with me, is i take a couple days off. i just eat like a normal healthy person but i dont count calories and what not, give yourself a little bit extra, then after thats over go into determined mode and be strict. the weight usually comes off because of the shock to your system. i know how you feel hun, i went 4 months without losing a pound then all of a sudden i got really serious and lost like 8 pounds in 2 weeks. you can do it, just find a way that works for you <3
