Ht. 5'5", Start: 184 lb, Today: 178 lb, Goal: 150 lb - OMG have you guys ever had a totally random binge? Because yesterday I did pretty good until after dessert. Around 10:30 I got myself some fat-free ice cream, which wouldn't have been too awful I guess, but then I had to go and get chips and dip (salsa and lowfat sour cream mixed together)! I didn't have a lot, but enough, seeing as how I wasn't really hungry maybe just craving it a little. Grr, this is SO frustrating!! I'm really mad at myself today. . Eh, sorry for the ramble!

yeah. i randomly binge sometimes. i think it's when you get to a point when eating isn't emotionally invested in, but you keep the habit of binging anyways...it's weird, and not a good feeling. we can stop it though!

I think we've all had our binges now and then, and I haven't had a binge in months, and i've quickly learned that the way to avoid binging is to avoid being around food as much as possible, get out of your house, do something fun that's also active, like walking around the mall. If you can't get out of your house, then what I do is put pictures up of healthy role models as inspiration to what I want to look like when I reach my goal. Whenever I feel the need to binge, I look at the pictures and ask myself if eating is worth sacrficing having the body that i've always wanted? Usually that stops me from wanting to eat. If you HAVE to eat, binge on healthy things. Its better to eat a whole bag of salad than a whole carton of ice cream. Also, eat at the table, with no distractions, because for me, when I eat in front of the TV or the computer, I end up eating twice as much as I do then if i'm at the table.
