it'strue to an extent. extra calories will make you gain no matter what- BUT your health and your long term weight loss as wel as the state of your metabolism and digestive system depends on where they come from. so- yes, they do matter. i use lite mayo when i feel like i want it- or lite mircle whip (20 cals). i like the tang.

Jacquie's post was right; nutrition-dense foods give you more bang for your buck while cola and other junk have empty, unhealthy calories that are just a waste. Oh and I like to use Lemonaise from the brand The Ojai Cook. It's really yummy and comes in assorted flavors. I buy mine at Whole Foods!

Yeahh!!! Same, I hate mayo, it's gross and sooo high calorie. Definitely try miracle whip. Its WAY lower in cals and tastes SO much better

a caloire really is just a caloire. weather it be 10 from a jello or 539 from a piece of pizza .... i guess in a way healthy cals from friuts, grains and veggies are better for you they are healther, and they will make you less hungry opposed to "empty" cals from chips and pop.. those cals dont last long, you get hungry and it dose nothing for your body..... a cal is a cal but it's up to you how you use them
