Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 176 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Hey guys, well I've been doing good...but I don't really think I can say that because the scale never moves! so I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong. But I've gotten into dancing again and am eating better. But I don't know, when I don't see the numbers go down...I just feel like I'm not doing enough and I KNOW that it's a gradual process...but still at this point in my life, I really need some motivation and when the numbers go down..I feel super motivated and just want to exercise till i dropp, you knoww what I mean? ahh I don't know. Just wish I saw a change in that dumb scale. :(

this time around it took me weeks of not losing before i actually started losing, i'm not sure why. but now i'm finally losing at a good pace. just stick with it and you'll break through whatever barrier it is that's keeping you back. it may also be helpful to put in all your food to a site and make sure you're getting enough/not getting too much of anything. i use simpleweight.com and i started on their free plan. it's nice not having to keep the numbers and nutrients in your own head.lol.

Well I would just keep doing what you are doing... I bet you are losing inches, check that... see if clothes are loose and such. Normally you either lose inches or pounds.

Jessica--yeah I've cut out junk food completely. Also I dance a lot for like an hour and do the treadmill...by the time I'm done, I'm sweating like a pig..even though pigs can't sweat but you know what I mean. lol

The more active you get the more active your body needs to be to lose weight. Try exercises that are hard for you and that really make you sweat. Also if you are eating any kinds of sweets try cutting down to just the foods you really need.

It does suck big time when you don't see a change in your weight numbers but think about it as at least their not going up
