Ht. 5'8", Start: 173 lb, Today: 165 lb, Goal: 140 lb - heyy! i used to go go on here a loooong time ago and since then iv gained and lost some weight... but gained more than lost. basically i would like to lose 25 pounds before the end of the year. i would be frekin happy if i lost 4 pounds a month, as long as i can lose some weight. this fall im planning on doing about 3 days a week of dance, volleyball, and going to the gym. i really try to eat healthy and but i have major sweet tooth for chocolate and chips and stuff. but usually i tend to eat healthy and not too much and i know that i just need to excercise more. anyone have any tips on getting my butt out of the door? plus i tried running and it felt amazing afterword but it was wayyy to hot out and people stare at you like its really weird to be running down the sidewalk....?? thanx pplz and good luck

Love, love, love running to music. For some reason it really makes exercising alot easier. Also, you know how good you felt and you know it will help you lose weight. Just focus on those two things and you'll be up in no time and don't say "oh, i'll just do it later" because you won't. And by the time you go run instead of planning for "later" you'll have been back/in the middle of a great workout. Good luck!

Music! It motivates you to actually get your butt out the door and listen to tunes as you run or walk. Also walking or running with friends is a great motivation!
