Ht. 5'1", Start: 398 lb, Today: 398 lb, Goal: 135 lb - alright so as you can see im obease...i always have been since i was about 8...when i was 8 i weighed 115 pounds..my whole family is and has been obease..everyone..my mom weighs about 450 and my dad weighs around 480 my sister is 425 and my brother is 360...i've decided i seriously need to loose weight my doctor has been trying to get me to..but just cant seem to do it...i eat about 7 meals a day because if i dont then my stomach will start to growl and ill get a stomach ache...im probably thinking i consume 5000-8000 calories a day..but i mean @ almost 400 pounds thats not too bad...i really need some help..if anyone could give me some sort of help i'd really appriciate it my AIM is stopsaveyourself or you can just reply...im so sick of having to wear maturnity clothes and im sick of not being able to get in my friends mustang..i mean today was the most embarrassing day of my life...my friend just got a mustang for her 17th b-day and she invited me to ride with her but i could get in the car and i had to stay home because even if i had been able to squeeze myself in it wouldnt have been safe because there was no way i could have put a seat belt on

You should talk you your doctor about what they think you should do to lose weight. Ask about a nutritionist too. Good luck!

Going to a doctor sometimes is not that helpful because they just say, "Lose weight! Stop eating!" like my doctor does. It's true that I need to lose but he's not so nice about it. There are people here you can talk to here (me). :) Maybe we can share a food journal or just come and talk after school if we're hungry or had a bad day. Let's help each other. I was 115 when I was 8 too and my mom and I are trying to stop it now. Maybe just try to eat half of what you usually eat like the site says. That's a start.

just start with little things. like if you dont do much walking or walking to much is hard for you make a goal like today im going to walk ___ number of steps at the least. just make little changes and stick to them and as time goes on make more changes.

Hey. I think its great u want to lose weight.but I think 5000-8000 calories a day its just over doing it for u to start doeting I'd say start with 2000-2500 calories a day then improve by getting to 1500 a day for a regular bases blive me 2000 calories a day is cutting out about 6000 calories of wat u regularly eat ud lose A LOT of weight at first bc ur cutting out a pound a day and drink more water and less soda and atleast workout 30 min aday even if its walking belive ud feel SOOOOO much better!!!
