Your post stuck out to me because at my highest weight, I was about the same height and weight(5'1 and 235) at the same age. So I felt the need to reply. 74 pounds is far too much to lose in 4 months. There's no healthy way to do that. I know how frustrating it is not getting quick results but trust me, in the long run losing it at a reasonable pace will make it more likely to stay off (because it's more likely you're losing fat, not just muscle or water). It's generally healthy to be losing at a rate of 1-2 pounds a week. So in 4 months, you should aim for a goal of about 30 pounds. Hang in there & good luck!

i would say that 32-60 pounds is reasonable. To lose 32 pounds you'd have to lose 2 pounds a week, and to lose 60 pounds, you'd have to lose 15 pounds a month. So around 3.5 pounds a week. 76 is too much.
