Ht. 5'5", Start: 130 lb, Today: 145 lb, Goal: 105 lb - ok im not sure if i did good with my eating so far today. so far i had oatmeal, a quaker ricecake, some carrots and dinner. u think that i probably ate healthy so far but this is what dinner was. linguine mixed with butter, garlic powder, broccoi, parmasean cheese, shrimp, crab, and cheesy alfredo sauce. i dont know if that is something i can eat on a diet. the broccoi, shrimp, and crab are somewhat healthy but its mixed with that other bad stuff. would u eat that while on a diet? later on i plan on eating some fruit or maybe some cheerios.

Okay well first of all that pasta thing sound fantastic and, frankly, I'm already craving it. On the diet note, I think its fine if you have a little bit. Try to make the pasta whole wheat but it sounds like there are some veggies in there and a lot of great ingredients. It's just the cheesy sauce thats gettin you down, but you could always strain it with one of those spaghetti forks or tongs, or if you wanna go strict strict, even rinse it off to save you some calories. Eating a small amount of real food is often better than eating a large amount of diet food, so go for it. Hope this helps!

I think you can eat what one you want to as long as you don't over do it. I still drink pop and chips and stuff but I don't over do it.

i'm sorry. you cannot just work bad food into your calories. that's not what it's about. you want to eat good food. but have lots of calories. you need to think about sugar, fat, and sodium. you also want to pay attention to protein and fiber. you want to think before you eat something. "am i getting any benefit out of this??" if you eat a candy bar that is 200 calories.. vs. some fruit and veggies or popcorn that's worth 200 calories. you need to chose the best one by thinking.. "what will i gain from eating this?" you wnat to eat to live. you don't want to live to eat. from eating hte fruits and veggies you are getting fiber.. which helps lose weight.. plus most fruits and veggies have lots of cancer fighting and other help benefits. so.. that was in response to the comment before me. but.. what you ate pretty much has a whole lot of fat. so no.. i would not eat that if i were on a diet. but odn't worry about it you'll do better tomorrow. have whole grain pastas with homeade tomato sauce.. or olive oil and garlic. it's really yummy!!

You can eat anything you want when you're dieting, you just have to work it into your calories. If that meal is made again, you might want to try just having a small portion of it, and have a nice, big salad to go with it.
