Actually, crunches aren't the only way to work your abdominals. There are also planks, V-sits, leg lifts, Stability ball...you can learn all kinds of ab exercises if you look it up online.

well to tell ypu the truth naturve valley granola bars has MANY calories. I looked at 1 granola bar compared to 1/2 cup of sugary cereal and it had 125 more calories!!!! I was amazed when I saw that. So now I try to stay away from them only when I need them but they are alright for breakfast because you can burn them off within the course of the day. Another tasty thing you could do with them is crumble it up and put it in your favorie yogurt like vanilla or strawberry.
Other healthy foods for weight loss is low calorie yogurt (or just regular yogurt;;i personally like the Oreo YoCrunch;;), honey bunches of oats cereal, celery, baby carrots, turkey breast and cheese sandwich with whatever vegetable you like on it (dont forget the WHEAT bread), salads (i ut baked chicken strips in it), use a TRANBSPARENT dressing (aka no creamy dressings), fruits (apples and 2 tbs of peanut butter are good), and most importantly.....WATER!!!! Always drink water to flush out the fat cells. There are many other foods youll like and ill sure you see some in the grocery store. But stay away from these foods: frozen dinners, donuts, chips, chicken nuggets, fried foods, french fries, hot dogs (try a turkey dog), ice cream (try frozen yogurt), soda, poptarts, dried fruit (I know!! How arent they healthy?!?! theres no nutritional value!), candy ( or just dont eat too much sugar), and all the other foods you know are bad for you like Little Debbies. The best exercise, and only exercise directly for your stomach, is CRUNCHES. For a flatter stomach there is no way arund them! But you also have to do other exercises that arent direct on your abs to lose fat there, and all over. Cardio vascular endurance. Run, jog, walk, jump rope, swim, trampoline, soccer, lacrosse, treadmill, eliptical, the things are endless!! anything that involves movements like running or walking for a long time is cardio vascualer endurance. If you do cardio 4 times a week everyweek, do crunches, and eat right, you will defienetly start to lose weight!! 3 weeks ago I started going to the gym. I did the Eliptical (cardio) for 30 min, the Bicycle (cardio) for 15 min, the Stair Master (muscualr) for 5 min, 50 situps (abs, 50 crunches (abs) 5-8 lbs weights 5 reps of 10 (muscular), leg bends (muscular), and a few other things. AND DRINKING WATER and GOOD DIETING!!!
2 months ago I had a size 14 skirt that I couldnt even get up to my bellybutton nor button it. now think i just started working out 3 weeks ago. Now, I can get it up my thighs, up top my bellybutton, button it, and its loose on me!! i had to wear a belt with it!!! and the best thing was i wore a shirt on the tight side with it and my belly didnt buldge as much as it used to!! and think in only 3 weeks I went down 1 skirt size!!And also workout videos are great for you to, like on FitTV or if you simply buy them or make -up your own routines!! good luck =)
