Ht. 5'5, Wt. Too much - Sorry for reposting. I just wanted to get more people's opinions because I decided to start my diet tomorrow. Set alarm to wake up at 10:00 AM so I do not have sleeping problems all summer. Shower. Eat two egg whites and a banana, grapefruit, apple or a couple strawberries. Go for a 1.5-mile walk around my hilly neighborhood with my dog. Snack will be some more fruit or a serving of Triscuits® and organic string cheese. Then I will spend the afternoon reading, playing or whatever, doing summer homework for my college classes, etc. This summer I am going to start preparing more meals for my family and they will all be vegetarian dishes that are very balanced (and totaling 1200 calories for the day). After dinner, I am going to digest for a while and then go work out again. At that time I will do my usual 30 minutes on a heavily inclined treadmill, 100+ bicep curls with 20 lbs, 100+ squats, 100+ crunches. I will be adding Taebo for about 20 minutes also and during my treadmill time, I am going to try running for as long as I can before I need to walk again. My goal is to go from 180 to 155 by the end of the summer. Is this possible?

I am vegetarian because I dissected a pig and I am not liking meat anymore. Not for health--i want to be.

Actually you don't burn any calories stretching- it just helps you not to pull a muscle so you can continue to burn calories in your workouts.

and u dont have to be nessicarily vegetarian to be healthy. they say you should always have a 1/2 a palm size serving of meat on your meals. (like the width of a glass cup) or like i sayed measure it to 1/2 your palm size because it give you great nutrients and such but dont eat n e more than that.

20 lb bicep curls are WAY to much. You have to start out light somwhere around 5-8 lbs. if not, all your doing is straining your muscles. they wont get n e bigger, they just be sore and youll have many problems with that. And only do to about 50 curls because your muscls have to sit for atleast a day or hours so they can get the effect of doing the curls. think about it as losing weight. as soon as you start running or exercising, you dnt drop the lbs right then. You have to not be too hard on yourself and take a day or 2 to relax. so just go down lighter weights and itll be good.

I love your motivation, but that does seem like alot! Are you planning to do that everyday? That really is alot. First of all I would suggest walking before you eat, so you'll burn fat. The 1200 calorie diet is okay, I guess. I would suggest alternating days between the Tae-bo and Treadmill, with the curls, squats, and crunches. So, your muscles will have time to rest and recover. 20 pounds seems like alot! I can barely lift 3 pounds 100 times! Yeah, but you should probably alternate days between those two workouts and to walk in the morning before you eat. Your goal is definitely attainable! Good Luck! Just try to mix up your workout everynow and then, so you don't get bored with it. And oh yeah, pleez, pleez try to add some type of stretching into your workout so you dont pull a muscle and get hurt. You'll burn calories stretching, too! =D
