well maybe you should start off at a slower pace and then increase that pace every week i used to be like you where i just couldnt run walking is good as well =] and well if you do go to the gym there are other things than walking. you can do the bike.weights.the little yoga balls =] and excersize doesnt always have to be running turn up some good upbeat music and just dance dance dance its just as good

if u cant run, then ur juss like me =). i just do the eliptical for 30 min. it works ur arms and legs for cardio. its compared to cross country skiing. i enjoy doing it WAY more than running because i have asthma and i just dont like it so try that if u can go to the gym or something. if u cant get there then just walk a few times a day to make up for it.

Yes, it should help. At your weight, running at 5 miles per hour for 5 minutes burns 78 calories. It's a good idea to gradually add more time to your running sessions. Make sure, since it seems like your exercise is very limited, to eat very healthfully. Good luck to you!
