And if you want to lose weight, eat lots of fruit and veggies to fill you up eat a larger breakfast and lunch, light dinner drink lots of water exercise good luck!
Reply from hii, Age 13 - 02/27/10 - IP#: 76.103.94.xxx Yeah Taylor (age 16) gave good advice and wasn't being mean at all. and Alexis: this is what i did to lose like 2 pounds per week run 2 miles one day then bike for 30 min the next day and keep doing that for the whole entire week. it really helped me! good luck! :)

I gave very good advice, but I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. I wasn't mean, in fact, I wasn't really all that blunt, which I usually am, so even if I was blunt it wouldn't be mean. If you're eleven and think that was mean, you seriously need to grow up a bit, hun. It wasn't, not at all. And guess what... I have every right to post accurate information and good advice here. I'm not too old to give advice here, people of any age are allowed, otherwise Preteens probably wouldn't give much advice, because most are too young to know what to do on their own, and that's the whole POINT of boards like these. Reply from Taylor, Age 16 - 02/15/10 - IP#: 75.66.56.xxx There isn't a whole lot of advice to give, the only way is to eat more healthily, pay attention to the nutrition facts on food to make sure what you're eating is healthy, because a lot of times certain foods can seem like they'd be healthy when they're really not. And count calories, and you should probably be eating about 1800 a day (seems like a lot, you may hear the minimum is 1200, but that's for adults, for preteens and teens, supposedly eating any less than 1800 calories a day can really damage your growth and development). And the other half is make sure you're getting LOTS of exercise, probably about 30-60 minutes a day, and of things that really get your heart pumping and may make you out-of breath and uncomfortable, but you need to do it anyway, and eventually you'll get more used to it.
