Ht. 5'1", Start: 150 lb, Today: 147 lb (BMI %tile: 96), Goal: 100 lb - Hi! i was hoping someone could answer my questions.
1. Do sit-ups really help burn calories?
2. I've herd that you should eat five small meals a day. Is this true?
3. What's some cardio I can do inside? (Preferably not too loud.)
Thanks!
Nina

1. No, they really don't burn a whole lot, but they do tone abdominal muscles which can help your stomach look flatter.
2. You can, yes, it increases metabolism which can help one lose weight. Lots of people find it inconvient, but if you can, it's definitely worth doing.
3. You could try dancing, or jogging in place, jump roping if you have high enough ceilings. Running up and down stairs works too. Anything that gets you out of breathe and gets your heart pumping is probably good cardio.
