I'm overweight! I weigh 215 lbs and am only 11! Everyone in my school says "Dani, you're not fat!" I am, though. I am not too tall, about 5"1'. I can't see any sign of me looking any which way skinny. I'm so insecure and have mad low self esteem. I am a lazy bum, I will admit this. But, my momma won't let me go outside ever, though! I ask her every day and all she says was "No, but you can go sit on the porch," in a serious way. This boy Andrew in my class is my friend, but he always makes fun of my fat and rubs it all in. I never shot any smart remarks to him because he's really short! Also, this boy Ali can never stop acting like a big baby around me. This one girl Twannisha was talking to one of my friends, Connie in the lunch line, whispering to Connie about my size 18 waist. I heard over it, and I was extremely hurt. Sometimes, I don't care what people say about me. Though, sometimes I think about it and all of the negative vibes erupt from the least of my thoughts to the most of them. All I want is some respect! I can't get any if I'm fat, because people think of me as a lazy, ugly, boring, dork, geek, fat, goody goody, rude girl from my appearance. Especially since I am about to graduate Elementary school... and the BIG swimming trip is closely approaching! Do any of you have advice for me? About how to deal with these people or how do lose some pounds? Anything will be greatly appreciated.

I know exactly hoolhow u feel.Im allso going to middle school next year and im 250 lbs.i have some advice for u.go to ron johns surf shop. they have awsome two-peices that look like one! i hope that u feel better about your weight and get a cute guy.watch,everyone who makes fun of u will get carma!good luck!

Hey! Dont feel down! First off, there r plenty of people just like u! (DUH!) What you need to do is take a bike ride everday around your neighborhood. Also, every nite do 30-40 crunches. the kid that are like sit ups: put ur feet under the couch chair etc. and put ur hands behind ur head and do situps just only come up so ur chin touches ur chest! do this everyday for about 2-3 weeks and u'll probably be in very good shape! also eat right! if u cant do that then consider this!



Eat whatever you want when you are truly hungry. stop when you are FULL!

yo, girl. i'm 11 and i wear a 16 waist and i'm not bummed about it. as long as u feel good about yourself, then u look good. but if u feel u r overweight, then tell ur mom what u think.

hey my name is Jessie i am 12 years old and weigh 130 pounds which is not all that bad cause, im not fat. sweetie listen you need to stop listening to those rude comments from people because, they are going to keep making fun of you cause, they know it makes you sad but, if you just walk away they will stop. and don't listen to them. well since you cant go outside when your at skewl run around a lot and whne you are home dance, jumping jacks, push ups, jump rope in a big open space, watch some fitness tapes good luck if you have aim SweetThang00116 is my sn good luck

Hey Sweetie, I understand also. My mother wouldn't let me do anything when I was your age either. So, when I did get to go outside, I would jump rope. Alot. I would time myself and jump as long as I could and then try to keep outdoing myself each time. Jumping rope is good cardio. Try it. I wish you luck.

I know were u are coming from. Growing up I was not alowed to do anything eather! But here are some in the house tips to help.1) do situps 2) push ups girl style. dancing also works and squats.
