Ive known this site for like 4 weeks now and when i first got here i was 160 lbs and now i am 152! Just the other day my moms friend said i looked like i lost weight! This encouraged my even more! But my family often buys junk food and i dont know how to completely resist it! Any ideas?

family is great help. even though im not over what is should be (because of my cystic fibrosis i cant eat 5000 cal a day without gaining) but anyways i have celiac so i dont eat wheat and i chose not to eat and sugars or meat. my family helped out by buying what i needed to eat!

Try telling your family about your goals honestly regarding weight loss and that it will really help you if they buy healthy snack food like fruits and veggies in addition to or instead of junk. Tell them you are trying to reach a weight loss goal and I'm sure they will be happy to help you out. At least you will have choices then. You will choose what to eat and that is part of a healthy life-style change. Good luck.
