Ht. 5'6", Start: 159 lb, Today: 173 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 130 lb - I need tips on how to lose weight! I gain instead of lose, but I exercise all the time!

first of all, it's great that your exercising-but you need to know which types of exercises are right for you...
running is a good cardio workout (anything that keeps you panting really hard is good too)
crunches and pull ups are excellent workouts that build your muscles and tighten stomach muscles- hope you have a good run!!!
oh! also you need to eat a ton of fruits-especially citrus, it helps you lose weight naturally

if your exercising a lot more than your eating your body will start saving every calory you eat making you gain weight instead of lose. thats what happens to alot of people and when this happens people get discouraged, but as long as you make sure your not exercising all day and like eating once then maybe its your thoirod gland. if you have a slow working thoirod gland youll gain instead of lose. or maybe you have a slow metabiolism.

Try to not eat things that contain "empty calories", or foods that have a lot of calories but don't fill you up. Before every meal drink a glass of water which will help you not eat to much at meals because you will feel fuller. When you go to eat a meal, also be sure to try to have a "colorful" meal. This means you will want to have a balance of veggies, grains, dairy, and meat on you plate. Also, if you can, get into activities like jogging, swimming, soccer, or basketball. These activities burn a lot of calories and can be really fun.

go for a lot of walks, eat healthier food, that should help you some. i used a random birthdate on the weight calculator (11 yr 9 month old) and it says you should be between (rounded) 90 and 130 pounds. hope this helps.

Eat meat , veggies, eggs, cheese. I promise next morning you will have lost at least a pound or so.

you can try going for a walk around ur nieghberhood atleast 3 times a week it helps alot!

hi take it from me i weigh 187 lb. and what i do is try to stay away from eating out. the fried fatty foods is bad for you. and also eat lots of fruits and veggies :-)
