Ht. 5'3", Start: 137 lb, Today: 135 lb (BMI %tile: 91), Goal: 100 lb - I lost 10 pounds this week!!! Yahooo!!

This is how i lost 10 ouunds in 1 week
Here are the basic rules for my weight loss:
• Eat low fat. This is because gram for gram fat contains twice the amount of calories as fat. When trying to lose weight it is suggested that you eat foods with no more than 5, % fat. So for every 100g there should be a maximum of 5g of fat. The only exception is oily fish which should be eaten 2 times a week.
• Eat low Gi. Gi is short for glycaemic index. Foods with a low Gi rating make you fuller for longer. Low Gi foods include: Bread (wholegrain and pitta.), all kinds of pasta (basmati is the best), potatoes (sweet if possible) and Breakfast cereals such as special K
• EXERCISE. Do at least 1 hour of aerobics and toning exercises everyday
• Remove tempting foods
• Drink at least 450 ml of skimmed milk a day.
• Eat at least 5 fruits and/or veg a day.
• Eat no more than 1600 calories a day.
Continue this for 2 weeks and then up your calories gradually, keeping an eye on your weight.
Also try swimming, it helps!
