~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From Lilly, Age 13

Ht. 5'8", Start: 115 lb, Today: 320 lb, Goal: 115 lb - When I was younger, I used to be heavily obese. By the time I was in first grade, I was close to 200 pounds. But then my parents decided to help me lose weight. Bit by bit and year by year, I eventually reached a healthy weight by fourth grade. I kept that weight throughout fourth and fifth grade. But when I reached middle school and sixth grade, the pressure of middle school got to me. I didn’t watch my weight or cared about what I ate anymore, and I absolutely ballooned up. At the end of sixth grade, I went from 120 pounds to 187 pounds. My parent showed lots of worry that I was returning to my old ways, but I didn’t care. Now I’m 13, almost reaching the end of my eighth grade year, and I weight 320 pounds, and simple things like getting dressed and walking make me tired. I know I’ll mever get my skinny body back, so I just don’t really care anymore.
