Ht. 5'3", Start: 134 lb, Today: 124 lb, Goal: 117 lb - Well it all happened when 6th grade started. I was 5 feet 0 inches and 126 pounds. I developed a crush on a boy in my math class and we got paired up for getting the highest scores. So we were talking and then his friend told me I'm fat and he told him to go away but his look showed that he agreed with his friend. I was so humiliated. So at first I was sad and ate through my problems. Later I had a physical and when I got on the scale I was 134. I gained eight pounds! So I decided, this is not the path I want to go on. With my ancestors with diabetes and other health problems because of weight, I decided to lose weight. My school's p.e. class had us run a mile, do push ups, sit ups, and swimming. These things were mandatory all year round, but I decided that I could do those things during my free time. I found myself back in front of the t.v. and at least I wasn't munching on chips I thought. Then I realized I needed motivation. So I though about my crush maybe if I lose the weight he can look at me in a better way. So I ate more fruit and vegetables, went on a treadmill while watching t.v. and played just dance. I really like that game its fun and your exercising. After 4 weeks, I lost 4 pounds. I was satisfied with it, but I haven't reached my goal yet. After 12 weeks of this, I lost 10 pounds. Everyone noticed and told me that they were proud and that I was lucky to have started a healthy life as early as 12. So when school starts again, my crush can see a better 'me'.
