Before you post a reply saying that your child is overweight or that you want them to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator. If the calculator says that your child is healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that they are overweight or that you want them to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From Jarod, child's age 13

hello again, its been a little over a month and the diet is completely gone. we have all slid back into our old eating habits and with the holidays maybe even worse than normal for junk food. new clothes brought for Christmas already show signs that they're too small. I really feel at s loss with what to do. Covid has made it so much harder to eat healthy, think healthy and exercise. It also means none of us are really connecting with anyone but each other. My boys screen time is almost all day. I try to make them put the screens away turn off rhe tv but whats the point when they cant go outside? I feel like my youngests weight has been increasing far more rapidly since he got insulin. I dont know why. help please.
