My sons' checkup with the pediatrician went well. She told me that the blood tests show normal blood sugar and cholesterol and something called an A1C test shows no evidence of prediabetes. Their blood pressures are normal. Leo is 5'1" and weighs 227 and Lane is still 4'8" but his weight is now 145. I talked with her afterwards. The need is to keep them from gaining more weight. As they get taller their weights should match their height.
