~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that your child is overweight or that you want them to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator. If the calculator says that your child is healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that they are overweight or that you want them to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

If you are an adult and not a parent, type your child's age as '0'

Check here if you are a teen or preteen and type your age in the Child's Age box

From Kirsty, child's age 16

My son is 16years old and I am worried that his weight is gaining dramatically! He has an obsession with his ps4 and I am struggling to take him away from it. The only time he leaves it is to go to college, which until now I have struggled to get him to go. I am thankful that he goes now and is trying so hard for a place next year but it is only 2 and a half days of the week, so for the rest he confinds himself to his room. When he recieves his college money he buys alot of junk food, when I try to take anything away from him (i.e. internet,or the junk food)or speak to him about it he will go to his father and stay as he will not be hassled by anyone and left to it. This would be an easy option to allow him to go, but I am worried about his health. I honestly don't know what to do!
