~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that your child is overweight or that you want them to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator. If the calculator says that your child is healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that they are overweight or that you want them to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

If you are an adult and not a parent, type your child's age as '0'

From Souzan, child's age 17

My son is 17 and weights just over 275lbs and is 5'9". I can relate because by the age of 19 I weighed 320lbs. I knew that it was going to increase so I had gastric bypass surgery and now weigh between 170-180lbs. He refuses to do anything and at this rate he'll be 400lbs or more in the next year. He has 3 younger siblings that I buy snacks for and I feel sorry for my son so he sneaks food when I go to bed. I don't know what to do anymore. Any advise would be greatly appreciated
