~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that your child is overweight or that you want them to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator. If the calculator says that your child is healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that they are overweight or that you want them to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

If you are an adult and not a parent, type your child's age as '0'

From Laura, child's age 10

An update on my daughter: I have posted here several times about my daughter Lisa. But since January things went really bad. I talked to my daughter about going to a doctor. But she refused, as she is embarrased about her body. So I didn't took her. Since than she became bigger and bigger. She is constantly eating and is buying herself chocolate, chips and ice-crea,. She turned 10 last month and I talked her into going on the scale again. She is now 4.8 and weights in at 208 pounds. She wears clothes in plus size women 22. She has no friends and is teased at school about her weight. Now that summer vacation is here she just sits at home, reads books and is constantly eating. I' m really concerned about her. She can only walk for about 5 minutes and than gets tired. The biggest problem seems to be her belly, as most of the weight is in her belly. It measures 63 inches. She holds it constantly when she is walking. And recently she also started to hold it when she is lying on her side. I don't know what to do anymore. PLEASE HELP ME!
