~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that your child is overweight or that you want them to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator. If the calculator says that your child is healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that they are overweight or that you want them to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

If you are an adult and not a parent, type your child's age as '0'

From Ann, child's age 23

I know that my daughter is not really a child anymore but I am very concerned about her weight. She is about 5'5" and 250lbs. She was very thin up until the age of about 10 when some things came out about her uncle molesting her. From then on she just gained weight. My side of the family is very thin, but her dads side is quite heavy. I'm not sure if it is a hereditary matter or stress from what happened to her. We had her thyroid tested when she was about 12 and there wasn't anything wrong with it then so I'm not sure what it is. Any suggestions would help. Thanks
