Before you post a reply saying that your child is overweight or that you want them to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator. If the calculator says that your child is healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that they are overweight or that you want them to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From Tim, child's age 12

Hello... I found it shocking that someone could gain up to 33 pounds in 2 weeks, as a previous post mentioned. I was under the impression that such a large amount was physically impossible. I would like to know just what somebody would have to eat to gain so much weight, so I can steer my own son off that path. I also find I work best through gathered statistics, so I suppose that would be another reason I would appreciate having some helpful information. Besides, if I knew what somebody could possibly eat to have such a horrendous gain, I might be able to help my son later in life by being able to steer him from such bad foods, considering his size already at 270. I suppose I feel ashamed. Well, thank you for any information you can give.
