~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that your child is overweight or that you want them to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator. If the calculator says that your child is healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that they are overweight or that you want them to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From Donna, child's age 6

My daugher is 6 1/2 yrs old. She is 4' 1" and weighs 76 lbs. I always thought she was just a big girl, but now I realize that she is over weight. She is really not a junk food eater, she likes real food! I have been trying to limit her portions, make her drink water (flavored), and she has been exercizing every day. It has been 2 wks and I have seen no results yet! The kids are starting to pick on her a little and I really want to get her down to a healthy weight. She really wants to di it to, but every time she gets on the scale it says the same thing and she gets upset. With everything we are doing, why isnt she losing any weight yet? Any suggestions?
