Start: Ht. 154 cm, 75 kg ( BMI %tile: 97)    Today: Ht. 156 cm, 56 kg (BMI %tile: 69) - I hated the looks I'd get when I sat down or wore skinny jeans! I hated when the boys in my class would snicker when I walked past. My weight loss started in may 2011 when I decided to stop eating junk food and after losing a few kilos I realised how much better I felt!! So I became vegetarian ,only drank water or coffee and had 1 serving of a carb a day!! I exersice everyday and feel horrible when I don't!! My goal weight is 50 kilos! Wish me luck!  (Note: 156 cm, 56 kg is 5'1", 123 lb.)

Start: Ht. 5'7", 220 lb ( BMI %tile: 98)    Today: Ht. 5'7", 213 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - so I've always been overweight. in summer 2011, i went on vacation and gained 40 lbs in only a few weeks, which brought me to 225 pounds. i was 5'5 then to that made me obese. luckily i hit my growth spurt and got taller and 5 pounds thinner, so now i was just overweight. i was always made fun of, until the end of 6th grade. now im in 7th and noone picks on me anymore. I can run and exersise but to be honest i hated it, in the middle of this January, 2013, i decided i wanted to loose weight before next school year starts. i exersised every day for about an hour, and ate 3-4 healthy meals a day. by the end of january i lost 7 pounds. I still have alot more to go, my goal is 150 pounds by at least august.

From Kiara, Age 21, female - 01/06/13 - IP#: 75.73.1.xxx
Start: Ht. 5'5", 188 lb ( BMI: 31)    Today: Ht. 5'5", 128 lb (BMI: 21) - So, here I am, FINALLY writing my success story. After my decade-long struggle to lose weight, I can hardly believe that I have reached my goal, and am completely satisfied with my weight. I remember being afraid to weigh myself in the 5th grade, and dedicating ever summer in middle school. Each year I failed, and finally got up to my heaviest at 188. How did I lose the weight? It's simple, I followed these rules:
1. NEVER, EVER buy anything you can't resist. If you know you'll eat the whole bag in one sitting, don't buy it. It's easier to have 10 minutes of willpower in the grocery store than hours of willpower not to eat the treat when sitting home all day.
2. Consider an eating schedule: Breakfast, 2 hours later a snack, 2 hours more have lunch, 3 hours later, dinner, 2 hours later snack. It builds willpower, and then you can maybe go a bit longer... (view more)

From Olivia, Age 19, female - 01/06/13 - IP#: 71.207.166.xxx
Start: Ht. 5'4", 170 lb ( BMI %tile: 93)    Today: Ht. 5'4", 137 lb (BMI %tile: 69) - I began drinking mostly water, black coffee, and diet sodas (but mostly water.) i now eat only when I feel hungry as opposed to eating all the time when bored. I still eat desserts and fatty foods but not near as much as I was. I eat smaller meals/snacks but i eat more often than I used to. I eat a bigger breakfast/smaller dinner. I keep myself busy which means I don't have as much time to eat or think about eating. I'd still like to lose another 12 pounds to reach my goal weight of 125.

From Ariel, Age 15, female - 12/30/12 - IP#: 69.242.217.xxx
Start: Ht. 5'4", 160 lb ( BMI %tile: 95)    Today: Ht. 5'5", 144 lb (BMI %tile: 83) - I started cutting down on junk food that I used to eat everyday. I knew it was bad for me. I also go to a school with six floors so I had a bit of exercise there then I got home and found an app on my iphone by Lolo. It worked wonders

From Olivia, Age 16, female - 12/19/12 - IP#: 67.3.127.xxx
Start: Ht. 5'4", 227 lb ( BMI %tile: 98)    Today: Ht. 5'4", 215 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - I know its not much but I also have alot of muscle. Back in March 2012 I was convinced to run a marathon with my best friend (26.2) miles. I told her she was crazy and I would only end up doing the half marathon. I was wrong. I spend 7 months of training. Waking up in the summer at 6:30am to go run 5 or 6 miles 3 times a week and then do a Saturday run of 13 miles and kept adding a mile each Saturday. I actually stuck with the training and worked hard! Unfortunately I did not eat the best during this time but I had to eat moderately because you need good nutrients for your body to be able to run that long. On October 21, 2012 I ran a marathon in under 7 hours. I did not run fast, but I ran it. This is just the beginning for me!

From dina, Age 38, female - 12/13/12 - IP#: 69.139.37.xxx

From Charlie, Age 18, male - 12/10/12 - IP#: 50.93.47.xxx
Start: Ht. 6'0", 198 lb ( BMI %tile: 89)    Today: Ht. 6'0", 176 lb (BMI %tile: 70) - I didn't weigh myself often so when I stepped on the scale for the first time in months i saw 198 and panicked. I didn't want to hit 200. I'm a solidly built guy and people are surprised to find out how much i weighed. I started going to the gym every day and doing cardio and weights. Also, I decided I was going to grow a 10 lbs beard. Thats right, not shave until I had lost 10 pounds. The longer it took, the more discusting my gross facial hair got and i was more motivated to go to the gym just so i could shave! It worked, I worked hard for two months now and brought my weight down dramatically. I also stopped munching when i used to smoke pot. That helped with the unhealthy food intake! Just set goals and get there, My goal is to put on 6 lbs of muscle and maintain a 180lbs, 6' build.

Start: Ht. 166 cm, 73 kg ( BMI %tile: 89)    Today: Ht. 166 cm, 57 kg (BMI %tile: 42) - believing in yourself is the main thing, and second focus on your diets and exercise.
Whenever i felt that life is pushing me down, i would get on my feet and start running on the treadmill, within a year i've lost 10 kilograms or so. My friends and relatives were shocked, especially when i'm usually the fat one around them, and most of the people were usually making fun of my fats. Nonetheless, i started with a notice from my doctor,as apparently, im overweight. Since my mom introduced me to the treadmmill, i've never been more grateful to her :). Anyways, if you are feeling angry or discouraged, take it on the treadmill, ur helping yourself. Good luck to those who are starting out xDD  (Note: 166 cm, 57 kg is 5'5", 125 lb.)
