Start: Ht. 5'5", 181.5 lb ( BMI %tile: 98)    Today: Ht. 5'6", 155.5 lb (BMI %tile: 90) - For every teenager out there who has ever felt self conscious, believe me, you CAN change yourself. YOU have the power to recreate your life in the most amazing ways. On the last day of 7th grade I weighed 181.5 pounds. I loved to eat so much. Panera was my weakness. I would always go in an get a whole sandwich, chips, soup, bread, soda, and cookies. I put an end to that. I have recreated my life and have so far lost 26 pounds, but I did take 5 school months off, to maintain but eat what I want. My goal is to lose another 20 pounds in a month using the SCARSDALE diet. It may seem hard, but anyone, and I mean ANYONE can lose up to 10 pounds in A WEEK on it! The diet works, you just need to make it work. Every person is so beautiful. My mother told me today that I am still in the process of blooming into a beautiful flower. DO NOT GIVE UP! Believe me, there are days where I just want to... (view more)

Start: Ht. 5'3", 196 lb ( BMI %tile: 98)    Today: Ht. 5'5", 152 lb (BMI %tile: 90) - I decided I didn't want to be overweight and "chubby" anymore... my friends always made comments that made me feel self-concious. Still not at my goal weight of 125, but slowly and surely working towards it! I make a weekly meal plan and repeat it for four weeks (or one month) and during that month I create NEXT month's meal plan that I will follow for a month, and so on. Also, you really do have to drink 8 glasses of water a day, and not small glasses, either. I mean 64 oz. of water a DAY! It fills you up really fast so I almost never feel hungry. The basics are: exercise, don't eat sugar/ drink soda, drink LOTS of water, and be proud your new body!

Start: Ht. 5'9", 295 lb ( BMI %tile: 98)    Today: Ht. 5'9", 155.7 lb (BMI %tile: 80) - Hi, I'm Noah and I'm a fifteen. Around my 8th grade year, I was extremely overweight, I usually binged on fried food, cake, ice cream, any thing that had that "feel good" taste to it. Although, not long after I consumed those foods, I felt guilty about eating them. One day out of sheer curiosity I stepped on the scale to see what the number said. To my shock, I was only five pounds under 300lbs. I was deathly afraid for my health, and knew that something had to give. I started exercising, slowly at first. Walking around town every single night, making sure I sweat because my motto was "your not exercising, until you sweat" lol, but anyways, I eventually worked my way down to 265lbs where I hovered for about a year. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't lose any more weight! I had already lost 30lbs, but I wanted to lose more. It did not occur to me ... (view more)

Start: Ht. 5'5", 184 lb ( BMI %tile: 98)    Today: Ht. 5'5", 156 lb (BMI %tile: 85) - I've had difficulties with my weight since I was 7 years old and went from being very chubby to just pretty chubby throughout my childhood. I never looked horribly obese once I hit seventh grade but always had a round face and belly fat that I hated. Just before my thirteenth birthday I weighed myself, disgusted to realize I was 184 lbs. Pretty soon I'd be 200, if I kept gaining each year! I was ashamed and tired of being the third fattest girl in class, so I bought the book "The Diet for Teenagers Only." I didn't follow the tracking religiously but the information was so powerful and changed my way of life and taught me how to shop and eat smartly. I used Weight Watchers to track Points for a while, and while that worked great I don't have the money right now to continue the program, being in college; so, I've just been trying to aim for healthy food... Start: Ht. 5'5", 147 lb ( BMI %tile: 90)    Today: Ht. 5'6", 122 lb (BMI %tile: 50) - During the summer before 8th grade, I hated going to the beach or being in a swimsuit when i was surrounded by girls who were much skinnier than me. Ever since I was young, I was somewhat chubby due to poor eating habits. When I entered 8th grade, I decided to pursue my lvoe for swimming by joining a swim team. I didnt change my eating habits at all, but i eneded up dropping to 125. I was happy and out of my previous depression. When i entered high shcool, i joined the cross country team and now i am doing track. I tried eating healthy but this didnt really happen and i ended upo dropping to 119. I have recently decided that it was a nessecity for me to eat healthy so now i am working my way to get a more fit body. I have never been happier than i am now.
