Hi Im 14 and I am overweight by a little too much but I have started walking everyday and eating a bit more healthy but I keep wondering if it will pay off in the end will it? Any advice would be greatly appriciated thanks ~ Sarah

how does this sound so far, for B: i had 2 egg whites, and 2 pieces of light wheat bread, For lunch i am having a tiny salad, fat free ranch dressing, light n fit yougart, an orange, and about 5 baby carrots, then i am working out after school, running a mile or more, working on legs and arms and other. then going home and having a snack maybe an orange or something healthy, and then having dinner(dont know what yet)..hows that?

OMG!~!~!I weigh 160 pounds and I am only 5,1. I want to lose like fifty or sixty of those pounds by the begining of summer so when I go to camp and the pool I don't have to wear a shirt the whole time. I don't know though because I can't seem to find a diet where they won't send you dieting pills or meals or I can't find a diet that is for people under 18. I don't know what to do and I need to lose this weight.HELP!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~Dave~

One of my major problems is the fat on my stomach. I know it will never be flat because I can feel the muscle under the flab and even that protrudes. But what can I do to get rid of it? The rest of my body is basically good, just not my stomach. I seriously look pregnant if I don't suck it in a bit. I don't know why it accumulates there, no one else in my family has that. They all gain on their hips/thighs. I wish it was my hips or thighs, it looks more normal than my stomach. Anything I can do about that?

To all the people out there who are trying diets such as atkins, zone, cabbage soup etc you dont need to do it! A simple way to lose weight effectively and keep it off is by eating three meals a day, having one snack, doing 15 minutes exercise per day, and just being practical. I have done this for the past week and yes i have included my favourite foods...just smaller portions and have lost 6lbs. I still get to enjoy my food and not give anything up and am losing the same amount of weight as someone who is on a unhealthy 'fad' diet. People, it can be done. Just motivate yourself and keep your head up. Good luck

Heres a question for all those people who have succeeded in losing weight, whether its 1lb or 100lbs: Has it actually changed your life? Are you more confident? Do u live life to the full? I have lost 27lbs out of the 35lbs that i wanted to lose and i feel exactly the same. I wear smaller size clothes but it doesnt make me feel any better. How about u? Whats changed in your life?

This is a totaly random food fact!! If you eat too many carrots you will turn orange!! haha. Ok, thats exagerating a lil. BUT, it is true that if you eat carrots and only carrots for a long time your skin will turn a bit orange, just slightly, like you used cheap self-tanner.

OMG!!!! i just got braces! it really sux. But they're ok i guess. anyway the orthodontist gave me a list of things i cant eat. Which are: ice, nuts, sunflower seeds, beef jerky, and nearly ALL sweets. And i have to be careful with meat, bread, and crunchy things i even have to be careful with fruits and vegetables! I might as well be anorexic! Maybe this will all pay off.

Hey I have a question......I am addicted to Diet Pepsi. But I want to loose weight and it is iportant. Well I drink at least 2 pops a day if not more and I can have a lot more. It is a phycological thing in my mind to where it calms me down. It is kinda odd I know and I know it is also all in my head, but is the pop good for loosing weight since it is Diet or is it still bad for me?Please help?*~*Amanda*~*

hey everyone I posted the same thing the other day, but I can't find it so idk if it worked...anyways I'm 5'2 and 130 pounds and I want to weigh between 100-110 by the end of the school year. I run at least a mile everyday and walk a mile too. I don't eat breakfast or lunch and a small portion of dinner and no snacks Is there anything else I should be doing thanks for the help ~Shelby
